With the 2012 amendments to the Copyright Act of Canada, why do I need to subscribe or purchase through Curio.ca?
Curio.ca is your only source for commercial-free CBC and Radio-Canada programs. Our programs, regardless of format, contain no advertising. By contrast, all programs streamed on the CBC.ca and Radio-Canada.ca websites include advertising at regular intervals.
We offer you long-term access to CBC and Radio-Canada programs. On CBC.ca and Radio-Canada.ca, programs are available short-term and are subject to change without notice.
In many cases, our titles are the only commercially available versions of programs aired on CBC and Radio-Canada.
Any reproduction, distribution and/or communication to the public of any works from this website, in whole or in part, for any purposes, including for educational purposes, is prohibited, unless you obtain a prior license or permission from CBC/Radio-Canada authorizing such use.
